Phoenix, Arizona—Three people were critically injured when two vehicles collided and rolled over at 7th Avenue and Bethany Home Road early Sunday morning.
Accident investigators reported that a vehicle northbound on 7th Avenue ran a red light at Bethany Home Road. It collided with another vehicle that was westbound on Bethany Home Road. Both vehicles flipped onto the parking lot of a Circle K gas station on the northwest corner.
First responders extricated two women from one of the vehicles and transported them to a nearby hospital for treatment of their serious injuries. An adult passenger in the second vehicle was ejected and rushed to the hospital in critical condition. A man and two toddlers were treated at the scene and released.
Accident investigators have not released the identities nor current medical conditions of those involved, as the investigation continues.
