The Pima County Health Department reported today that a woman hospitalized for an illness caused by cucumbers contaminated with Salmonella has died. This marks the third death to the outbreak, which has sickened at least 418 people in 31 states.
The Salmonella outbreak is linked to cucumbers grown at Rancho Don Juanito in Mexico and distributed by Andrew & Williamson, a food company based out of San Diego, California.
Our firm has filed lawsuits on behalf of six Arizona residents who became ill after eating cucumbers contaminated with Salmonella. We are working will Bill Marler of Marler Clark, L.L.P., P.S. on these cases.
